It's opportune that the Pascoe Vale Hand Spinners and Weavers Group have their Spinners Exhibition just before the winter truly sets in. The annual exhibition and sale will have lots of warm beanies, scarves, babies and children's wear for sale, as well as hand spun skeins for you to create your own weird and wonderful projects of knitting or weaving. It's all happening over the weekend of 1 & 2 June 2019 from 10am to 4pm on both days at the Swimming Pool Hall, 7 Prospect St, Pascoe Vale. Entry is FREE.
Spinning, weaving and fibre prep demonstrations will be held from 11am to 12 midday, with wool dyeing and felting demos running from 1-2pm. Members' work will be displayed and you'll be privy to all aspects of this craft. This year there's the addition of a toy shop of handmade toys to admire, which will be donated to the St Kilda Mums Charity at the end of the exhibition. Children are most welcome to come along, and do share this wonderful event for optimum attendance.
