Lovely newly renovated restaurant, great food & water views
Lunch at the Pasadena Baramundi served with green beans a lovely dish
The newly renovated Pasadena Restaurant has only been open for a short time. Situated in an ideal situation at Church Point, The Pasadena is a beautiful restaurant with stunning water views.
It has lovely open spaces and a freshly decorated modern dining area. The Pasadena was a favourite of many people going back many years. It was always stylish with a lot of charm. The newly renovated Pasadena is just as stylish and will be a welcomed addition to Church Point.
H20 Melon and Haloumi (GF) Entree Pasadena Restaurant Church Point
A couple of weeks ago a friend and I went there for lunch. The new menu has a variety of dishes. We shared an entree of Melon and Haloumi GF with lemon balm, mint, roasted pistachio and chardonnay vinegar. The entree was light and delicious.
I returned to The Pasadena again on a sunny Sunday. I was given a warm welcome by the owner Paul and sat at a lovely table right near the open doors which lead onto a lawn area. There are beautiful water views all around. You can sit out in the garden if you so desire.
The local ferries run to Scotland Island at the wharf next to the Pasadena. So you can also take a round trip of the island after Breakfast or Lunch which makes for a good day out.
I chose this time to have the Tuna Nicoise Salad for lunch which was delicious. Fresh tuna, which I love is seared perfectly and served with green beans, snow peas, potato and other delicious ingredients. Also to set it off a poached egg is added to the salad.
In the next photo, you see has an unexpected bit of magic to it. We had a beautiful Rose Wine a speciality of the house with our lunch. If you look closely, reflected in the glass of Rose, are reflections of the plant behind.
Lunch at the Pasadena - a perfect Rose wine for a summer day lunch
I wanted to have another breakfast at The Pasadena. So on a sunny day last weekend I went with a friend once again to this delightful restaurant. We arrived at about 10 am and sat down looking out at the water.
The Breakfast Menu was varied with all the favourites like avocado smash, eggs with all the usual extras like smoked salmon, tomatoes etc. There was also a variety of lovely fresh juices. I chose a fresh watermelon juice, which was so refreshing on a warm day. I had poached eggs with grilled tomato and a side of smoked salmon. This breakfast dish was beautifully presented and very tasty.

After breakfast, it was such a beautiful sunny afternoon that we moved into the garden. We sat right on the waters edge under one of there many umbrellas and just took in the spectacular view. Here we had another one of their wonderful watermelon juices. This is really an oasis and so relaxing. Also, the access is wheelchair friendly, which is a bonus for those who need it.
The Pasadena has boutique accommodation with luxurious rooms for guests. An attractive bar area for drinks. It has facilities for conferences, weddings or just a short break or holiday. There is even a two bedroom apartment for rent which would suit a family well.
I was invited as a guest on the Easter Weekend to spend a night at The Pasadena. All the rooms have names instead of numbers which adds a touch of class. Mine was called Sierra Madre, a gorgeous room with water views.
A picturesque view seen from my guest bedroom at the Pasadena Boutique Accommodation.
My friend Denise joined me for dinner which was delicious and I was presented with a bottle of their special rose wine. On this beautiful warm evening, we sat looking at the twinkling lights on Scotland Island and the sai boats' gentle movements on the water.
This beautiful place is a touch of paradise for the people of Sydney to have a weekend break. Parking for guests is available on request. There are beautiful walks in the national park nearby. The staff will be pleased to provide you with information about these walks. You can hire a boat or a paddle board. Or you can just cool out relaxing in the garden with a good book and a glass of wine.
There is also a unique brand new parking station close made from timber.
