Looking for somewhere picturesque to have breakfast? Try The Partisan Café in East Perth. Recently my friend and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful Winter sunshine and ride our bikes from Rivervale alongside the river, on the lookout for somewhere to eat breakfast.

We found ourselves crossing the bridge over the Swan and arriving at the Partisan Café in East Perth. Although it was a leisurely 5km ride, we decided we had earned ourselves the pleasure of ordering something not as healthy, as a reward for our efforts.



Looking at the menu, we couldn't go past the chocolate porridge, fresh strawberries, toasted walnut and maple loaf as well as the hotcakes with fresh banana, Nutella and double cream. Sharing this over coffee and watching the boats pull up close by made an enjoyable Sunday morning and the food was just the right amount to leave us feeling content enough to take the long way home.
