If you are sick of going to the same old bars and clubs then you're in luck! Bursting onto scene at the Brisbane Festival from Saturday 7 to Saturday 28 September are a few cool places you can hang out and party. The best thing about them is that it's free entry so gather your friends for a few quiet drinks or a night of mad dancing.

1. The Spiegeltent Garden Bar



Catch up with a few friends over a delicious beverage accompanied by scrumptious food at this cosy open-air bar. With free entertainment and awesome company, what more can you ask for? Open nightly from 5pm during the week (except Mondays) and from 2pm on weekends till late from Saturday 7 to Saturday 28 September.

2. Santos GLNG Lounge



When checking out the magnificent Santos GLNG City of Lights, don't forget to check out the Lounge. Situated by the Brisbane River, it offers the best possible views for the magnificent Santos GLNG City of Lights. Relax here any day of the week (except Mondays) between Saturday 7 to Friday 27 from 5pm with drinks and terrific food.

3. Wunder Bar



Wander into this wonderful Wunder Bar situated at QPAC's Cascade Court for some partying with the stars at this much-loved after-show place. There will be awesome live music from 8.30pm Wednesdays to Saturdays during the Brisbane Festival. Don't miss out on the opening night on Saturday 7 September featuring Deni Hines and Band.

4. Basement Late Nights



Visit the Basement at Metro Arts on Edward Street in the city for a host of happenings for night owls. You can get to know the locals and artists or surround yourself with music and dancing. Open from Tuesday to Thursday nights from 10 September through to 26 September from 9.30pm, pop in for a visit and great entertainment.
