Melbourne has so much to offer. I love experiencing new places and events and sharing them with you.
I have an interest in gluten free, vegan and vegetarian diets so I will let you know if you these can be catered for in my reviews.

I have been known to drag my friends and family to cafes to 'check out' a place on the whiff of an article scanned online, sometimes, to disappointing results. But you have to try lots of average cafes before you find something truly special, which is what we have here.
Set in an unassuming shopping strip in Avondale Heights, not far from Highpoint, this newly opened cafe - Particle Cinnamon - is exceptional in so many ways. Where shall I start?
1. The welcome: I have been there four times. Every single time, I have been greeted with a hello and a smile. I feel like they know me, and that was even the first time.
It's the little things that make this cafe so warm and welcoming.
2. The menu. This is something different, open your minds people - this place is 100% vegan. But I am not talking hemp seed burgers, beetroot stacks or risottos without cheese. This is innovative, interesting and tasty food for your body and soul using uncommon ingredients - macadamia nut feta, for example, or have you ever tried coconut bacon?
6. The service is impeccable. Friendly, not intrusive and only too happy to help, the waitstaff always seem happy to be there and will guide you through the menu, or help you chose (yes, I had quite a bit of difficulty deciding).
7. Dietary options - for people avoiding gluten, vegetarians and vegans of course, those limiting sugar or calories or just anyone after a healthy but flavoursome meal, snack, sweet, or drink. You will not feel like you are missing out.
Particle Cinnamon is a delightful cafe to sit at, to meet with friends or even just read a book while indulging in a donut with your coffee. There is food for everyone, from the conservative (I just want a sandwich, raisin toast) to the more adventurous (Snickers chia seed pudding, Gandhi bowl). There is a kids menu and outdoor seating, in addition to inside.
