Parsley Bay Reserve is located in Vaucluse and is part of Sydney's eastern suburbs. It is a popular family park that includes a children's playground, enclosed swimming area as well as picnic facilities.

Next to the reserve is a small carpark that you can access from Parsley Road. Otherwise there is some street parking. Pedestrian access is also available from The Crescent, Hopetoun Avenue and Horler Avenue.

The park is popular for birthday parties, picnics and family gatherings and offers plenty of green space for children to play, kick the ball or fly a kite. As there are no waves, swimming is safe for even young kids.

Large trees on both sides of the reserve ensure lots of shade on hot summer days and a small kiosk serves coffee, tea, ice cream, snacks and lunches.

There are also bushland walking trails and disabled facilities as well as public toilets. Children can explore the bushland beside the reserve or build sandcastles on the beach.

Parsley Bay Reserve is managed by Woollahra Municipal Council, so if you need to hire the park for a large function, visit their website for more information.

As not many people know about the reserve's existence, the park is never really busy - not even in summer.
