Sydney's biggest open-air rink & interactive light garden

Winterlight brings 17 days of magical winter fun to the picturesque heritage grounds of Prince Alfred Square in Parramatta from 6 to 22 July 2018. Entry is FREE!

Come along these school holidays and test your moves on the Smoothfm Ice Rink, the largest open-air rink in Sydney! Next door is an undercover kid's rink - which is ideal for younger children to take to the ice, complete with 'kanga helpers' on hand to keep them on their feet.

There's more to experience on the ice side of life as you slide your way down an elevated 30m ice slide and don't miss the wondrous sight of the Winterlight Garden, where you can project interactive aquabeams into the night sky. It's the perfect place to take a family portrait or a selfie!

Away from the ice, you can delight in the antics of the winter-inspired roaming performers, join the Frozen Sing-a-long, soar to new heights on the 22m high illuminated Ferris Wheel and experience the thrill of the festival's vintage-style carnival rides including a Carousel, Music Trip, Cars 4 Kids, Rockin Tug and Winterlight's coaster ride.

Whether you are after a leisurely lunch under the winter sun or a cosy dinner with family and friends, you can enjoy a wonderful range of comforting European-inspired winter fare at Winter Village. Highlights include hearty homemade soup from The Original Soupman, authentic wood-fired pizza by YouPizza, tasty German sausages from Berlin Bangers and fiery Indian curry from Chilli & Grains.

For those with a sweet tooth, there is rich hot chocolate or mouth-watering treats from Parramatta-favourite Adora Handmade Chocolates and Dutch Poffertjes.

Live music performances by Paramatta's Live and Local musicians will be the perfect accompaniment to your meal during Village Sessions.

Weekends will provide even more excitement with spectacular Winterlight Ice Shows with glittering costumes and dazzling performances by a cast of champion skaters, free creative children's workshops, circus playground and a DJ on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights! Plus don't miss Theme Night Wednesdays and human statue painting!

Get right into the winter vibe with 2 for 1 Tuesdays where you can enjoy two for one deals between 11am and 4pm on ice skating tickets, amusement rides and food.

With so much on offer for all to enjoy, Winterlight is the place to be these July school holidays!

Opening night is Friday 6th July from 5pm. Join Winterlight's Opening Night Party where you can enjoy unlimited skating and rides for just $35!

Winterlight will then be open daily until Sunday 22nd July 2018 at Prince Alfred Square, Parramatta.

Entry is FREE with skating from $18 and rides from $2. Visit www.winterlight.com.au to book now and save.
