Get ready, get set... GO! The urban adventure begins, with Parramatta lighting up in a food festival that will not just tantalize your taste buds but keep you coming back for seconds!
Parramatta Lanes is presented by Parramatta City Council as part of the Good Food Month. Around every corner at Parramatta the festival will cover four evenings of food and adventure.
Gourmet street food will tease your palette, craft beers will sustain that thirst attack, cocktails to indulge in and of course live music and art installations within seven uniquely themed sites will keep you entertained as you sink your teeth in tasty cuisines...
Seven quiet lanes, car parks and squares in Parramatta will be transformed into a magical and beautiful themed spaces ranging from the exotic Middle Eastern Bazaar to a chic and sexy French inspired eatery, neon playground represents the bustling Tokyo city with an array of Asian street food and many more exciting themes with teasing cuisines to be tasted.
If you still have room left the Disco Desserts will definitely complete your food feast, so do make sure to leave some space in that belly for some delectable dessert!
As everyone knows Parramatta is the home to the strong "foodies" presence, so this festival fits quite well in this precinct.
Some other highlights at the event include a vintage craft market featuring Australian culinary classics, live music, The Art Amble – Batman Walk a sensory feast of video, sound and installations, wine tastings that is paired up with a tasty European inspired menu and other highlights too.
