What do you get when you add a pinch of culinary charisma to a University building? - . A small slice of Italy, this hip hybrid is nestled in an intimate location in the Jane Foss Russell Building, teetering on the border between Sydney's bustling Broadway and trendy New Town on the edge of the University of Sydney's Camperdown campus.

With a suitably chilled atmosphere but still retaining its student spirit, if this cafe were a fine wine it would be a chardonnay, refreshing and distinct but with a more modest price tag. One cup of their freshly made mocha transports you to the bistros of Rome and, along with the wide selection of freshly baked pizzas on display as well as the glass bottles of San Pellegrino adorning the shelves, one could very easily be there.

Although Parma falls victim to the one disadvantage common to most campus eateries, the lunch time rush, this only serves to add to its authentic continental charm and, weather permitting, there is rarely a shortage of seats with a choice of indoor or outdoor dining. Avoid it at 1 o'clock and Parma won't dissapoint, offering a student dining experience with a touch of sophistication as well as good value for money with Access card savings available throughout.
