Parkside Winery is in Lancefield, near Woodend, just over an hour's drive from Melbourne. They are pleased to announce that after the 2020 lockdown, their gates have swung open again. Their huge beautiful trees are waiting for visitors to come and sit under them once more. And the corks are popping on their beautiful bottles of bubbly. So get ready to clink glasses.
The winery and cellar door is located in the grounds surrounding the historical Parkside homestead built in 1890. To enable you to get out of those lockdown blues and linger longer in the country, they are offering deliciously prepared gourmet lunchboxes from Monsieur Pierre, Kyneton till at least mid-December.
Lunchbox including a Glass of Wine = $30 per person. There are five items in your lunchbox - with three of the items requiring your selection when you book.

After parking your car, collect your gourmet Monsieur Pierre Lunchbox and this includes a glass of wine then head to your specially reserved table positioned around the grounds of their Cellar Door. On cooler weather days, there are plenty of special, socially distant spaces undercover to relax and enjoy your surroundings.
Cost of the lunchbox plus a glass of wine is $30 per person and must be paid for prior. This books out quickly as they only have 20 places each Saturday.
They have already Sold Out on 14 November but at the moment of writing, they have extended these Saturday through till mid-December. See website for dates.
About Parkside Winery
Parkside Winery are makers of handcrafted cool climate wines. Enjoy tastings of Sparkling, Rosé, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc in their lovingly restored 1890s Clydesdale horse stables, then enjoy a glass of wine on the deck or surrounding lawn area.
With just 3.5 acres under vine, hand cultivation in the vineyard and minimal intervention in the winemaking process ensures their wines capture the essence of their surroundings and the seasonal variety of each vintage.
Their wines regularly achieve awards at regional and national wine shows. Their 2013 Chardonnay Pinot Noir Sparkling was awarded the Trophy for the Best Sparkling at the 2019 Daylesford Wine Show. This follows a Silver Medal at the Australia and New Zealand Boutique Wine Show in Sydney in 2018.
