With summer well on its way, Parklife, the first musical festival of the season, kicks of its tour in Sydney next weekend. A week later, on Saturday the 1st of October, it will be here in Brisbane, filling the Botanic Gardens with thousands of fluoro-wearing revellers.
Now in it's 11th year, Parklife is once again bringing some of today's best music acts to the Riverstage.
This year's line-up features an array of well-known artists. With many of them being of the dub-step and drum and bass genre, the hottest style of dance music right now, Parklife 2011 looks to be one of the best music festivals presented this summer. The line up includes:
Adrian Lux Ashton Shuffle Crystal Fighters Death From Above 1979
Digitalism Diplo Duck Sauce
Simian Mobile Disco
Yacht Club DJs
Don't be afraid to don your brightest summer outfit, join the revellers and discover some new music. Tickets are priced at $148 and are available on the Parklife website. They are selling fast but if you miss out, there's always next year!
