Get the Brylcreem out, shine those rhinestones and dust off those blue suede shoes. It's time to shake rattle and roll. Australia's largest celebration of the King returns to the regional town of Parkes, NSW for a festive five days from
Wednesday 11 – Sunday 15 January 2017, featuring more than 120 free and ticketed events, shows, concerts and competitions.

What started as a small get-together between like-minded Elvis fans back in 1993, has today grown into an internationally renowned event endorsed by the estate of Elvis Presley. The
Parkes Elvis Festival turns 25 big ones this year and will celebrate the 5 day festival with a
'Viva Las Vegas' theme. Expect plenty of razzle and dazzle happening in the town of Parkes.
This festival will be special. Of course, there will be plenty of Elvis fans dressed to the hilt, dancing in their blue suede shoes and crooning like the king.

It's a jam-packed five days of fun with colourful street parades, dazzling light shows, 3D chalk art, competitions, rock n roll dancing, gospel singing, stage performances, hot cars, buskers, markets and much more!

Highlights of the Festival:
Feature Concert Series - Billed as two of the world's best Elvis performers, Jake Rowley (US) and Pete Storm (UK) are set to perform four sensational tribute shows at the Parkes Leagues Club for the Festival's 2017 Feature Concert Series. (Thursday 12 – Sunday 15 January, 2017).

The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. See the world's top Elvis tribute artists battle it out to become the winner and go on to represent Parkes at the semi-final in Memphis, USA (Friday 13 - Saturday 14 January 2017).

The Elvis Express zooms its way from Sydney to Parkes with hundreds of passengers enjoying onboard entertainment from a great line up of Elvis tribute artists (Thursday 12 January, 2017).

The 2017 Miss Priscilla Dinner features the sashing of the Face of the Festival, 2017 Miss Priscilla. Enjoy a two-course dinner and show (Thursday 12 January, 2017). Secure your tickets to the Goodsell Machinery Miss Priscilla Dinner on Thursday 12 January by booking on the

The highlight of the weekend will be the
Northparkes Mines Street Parade, with Elvis-themed floats, Elvis and Priscilla look-a-likes, vintage cars and marching bands to boot (Saturday 14 January, 2017).

The Elvis Gospel Service, reminiscent of a Southern Revival service, sees Pete Storm making a special appearance alongside local choirs and musicians (Sunday 15 January, 2017).

Bring your loved one along and witness couples rekindle their love before an Elvis celebrant at the
Renewal of Vows Ceremony (Sunday 15 January, 2017).

Parkes is located very close to the geographical centre of New South Wales,365km from Sydney, 995km from Brisbane, 732km from Melbourne, 1,067km from Adelaide and 306km from Canberra.
Being such a huge festival with so much on, many come from far and wide. This year it will be even easier to get to the 2017 Parkes Elvis Festival with visitors able to travel to the event by
road, rail and air.
For the first time in the event's 25-year history, daily return
airplane charters will transport city-siders from Sydney to Parkes. There will also be a
daily bus shuttle service which will run from Canberra. You can buy complete travel and accommodation packages, or use one of the daily return shuttles on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
