Park Meadows is located in Albion Park, a suburb situated in the Macquarie Valley in the City of Shellharbour - it's an easy 2 hour drive from Sydney's central business district, making it the perfect day trip or weekend getaway. The term "Albion", is an ancient name of Great Britain - this name was given by the original land grant owner around 1815. Albion Park is the most direct link between Sydney and the popular Jamberoo Action Park, which claims to be "New South Wales' favourite water theme park" - as such, many people pass through the area. In addition, the Illawarra Highway which runs through Albion Park and joins the Prices highway brings many travellers through the region.

Park Meadows has three rooms (single/double/family) to choose from, including a pet-friendly area suitable for people with small to medium dogs. All rooms have air-conditioning, televisions and en-suite bathrooms, which is always a nice facility to have. Eddy and I stayed in the family room, which was large and spacious with all the facilities we needed and more (including a fully fenced off backyard) - we loved it! The rooms were clean and immaculately presented, obviously designed and maintained with guests' comfort and convenience in mind.
One queen, one single, and two sofa couches in the family room.
What was the rest of the property like at Park Meadows B&B?
Being a bed and breakfast, there is of course the option of enjoying a hot English breakfast on site - otherwise, feel free to use the barbecue area, or the kitchen that is available in at least the family room. There is also Foxtel and WiFi available, which is always a great bonus! Plus, if you're feeling the need to cool down or to do some exercise, feel free to have a swim in the pool on site.
Yes! Park Meadows has a self-contained pet-friendly unit that can be fully fenced off from the other rooms. Pets are allowed both inside and outside this area, with the outdoor area fully fenced off such that your pet will remain safe within the property. With a decently sized backyard with large patches of grass, your pet will love having the luxury of being able to choose to be either in or out of the unit!
Fully fenced off area so that your pets can explore the place leash-free.
Best of all, Park Meadows has a resident dog called Pixie, who is the sweetest dog who will shake your hand upon request. Pixie can be found at the entrance of Park Meadows B&B welcoming guests both people and dogs alike. She's happy to share her expansive collection of balls (she literally has a whole bucket) with anyone who's willing to throw one or fetch one - there is much fun to be had for the doggy patrons that stay here!
