Ooh, la, la! Paris has swept into town with the annual French festival Paris to Provence. There's plenty to occupy your time, imagination, and wallet here at the Como Estate house and garden which is housing the festival.

Roving mimes, a professional cooking show, a concert street organ filling the air were only a few of the offerings included in a $15 online general admissions ticket. A sea of white booths containing classic French items-crepes, wines, breads, perfumes, language courses, etc all made for delicious eating and shopping. Kids under 12 are not only free, but are also offered a variety of great activities, colouring contests, face-painting, and crafts. Vive la France!

There's one more day of fun, which I hope won't be frying hot like today was. Take a light umbrella or parasol and you will be envied by all who pass by. Take a French-themed one, and you will fit right in with all the striped jumpers, berets, and other handsome French fashions being sported at this event. Water is available for purchase, but brought-in spray bottles were also in use all about the grounds. Doors open from 10am to 4pm tomorrow.

Follow this link for more information or to purchase tickets. Bon chance!
