Backroom Bonanza Opening Hours

Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm

So, if you are looking for a bargain that at the same time helps the environment through reuse and recycling and provides jobs for Western Australians with disabilities, come along to the Backroom Bonanza on Saturday, July 27, and bag some bargains.

Do not miss this opportunity

Browse a massive range of pre-loved & vintage clothing, furniture, books, antiques, electrical goods, and bric-a-brac. You will find oodles of quality items at affordable prices, show your support, and grab a bargain.

Come and sit awhile

Book Bazaar provides the perfect opportunity for a relaxing rummage through pre-loved library books and choose your take-home 'forever' book from this unique bookshop.

Unlike commercial bookshops, Book Bazaar is refreshed each week with a donation of several thousand books by the State Library of Western Australia. In addition, many other donated books are received from specially selected sources. There are no rainchecks or sourcing an extra copy from the supplier, from this distinctive bookshop. Thus, the savvy book collector knows to make Book Bazaar their first port of call.

Volunteer and make a difference

Crucial to the success of any op shop are the wonderful volunteers who so selflessly donate their time and expertise. Do you have a few spare hours per week and want to get involved in something worthwhile while working with a great bunch of people? No experience is required, and any help is gratefully appreciated. Volunteers are welcome to apply in-store or contact 9272 6564 for further information.

Your opportunity to donate
  • All donations are gratefully accepted and happily received
  • during shop hours at the store
  • There is also a donation bin out the front of the store
  • And you are also welcome to bring items to the counter
  • If you have large furniture donations, then free home pick-ups can be organised by calling 9381 0195
