I'm new to writing, hope you enjoy reading my reviews.

Hey readers, Since it's Halloween time I thought I might write a review about Paranormal Activity 4. I went to the cinema with my girlfriend and a few friends on Wednesday. I have to say I was kind of disappointed with the film. The thing is with most horror films now days they get kind of predictable especially this series. The one thing about these are that because of the style of filming, it gets predictable from the first two films.

If you get scared easily and you jump easy, then this film is for you since there are a lot of jump scares which they rely on in the films. I don't think they built the atmosphere up enough to make it feel spooky. I personally don't jump easy from jump scares unless i get the atmosphere of the scene first. Besides from the scares the story line is average in my opinion. I don't think it's a great story line but I've watched worse.

Even though I was disappointed with the film I do think the series is gradually getting better as they go on. A lot of things are still unanswered so I'm sure they will make a new one to follow up. New characters are in this film including an old character who I won't announce since I don't like to give spoilers.

They're are plenty of good scenes though to be able to keep you from getting bored as the story progresses but i think ill end up watching the next one since I've seen the last 4 now. I would like to see how it began and how it ends, If it ever will end. A score out of 10. I would give it a 5 out of 10 maybe a 6. If you have seen the other films i would recommend watching this one as it gives you even more depth into the story line.

I'm sorry about this being a short review, but there's not a lot I can say that blew my mind but I suppose everyone does have their own opinions and everyone finds different things interesting.
