Although simple, Paradiso Cafe, located inside the Metro Hotel complex, is a really simple oasis of paradise in a busy area of the city. Located in Pitt Street just off Bathurst Street, you would be forgiven at times for thinking that you are in your own little oasis, and within good reason too.

This establishment is small (yet cosy) and with the polished floorboards matching this simple but trendy, comfortable and ambient decor.

Simple food, tasty yet filling. If you are planning on going out with a group, it is highly advisable to make bookings in advance; not only to avoid disappointment, but because the generous staff might just might be able to provide you with a bottle of wine on the house as their way of saying thank you for your booking. This has happened to me a couple of times. Great for groups, although just as great for two people as well.

Efficient service, and everything is just fine. Their bacon and eggs for a late brunch is great. Suitable for a casual meal at any time of day. Also like their lattes.
