Explore the skies above Maroochydore
Right on the Maroochy River, is a plane just waiting for you to step in, take off and see amazing views of the river and slightly further afield.

Ready for Take-Off on the Maroochydore River

Have you ever been in a sea-plane? If you plan to set foot in one of these planes and head skywards to see the view, make sure you choose a good day (no rain etc), and book ahead, and then make your way to Bradman Avenue on the Maroochy River, and look out for the only Wilga Warbird on floats in the Southern Hemisphere according to their website.

I'm chicken and don't like flying, but I certainly enjoyed watching the Wilga take off and fly, and return later. One day, I may go - would love to!
