Celebrate this month's park with free activities

Para Wirra Conservation Park, located just 41 kilometres north of Adelaide, is the park of the month for May 2019. And, you are invited to come and join one of these free events. Other paid activities such as photography and journaling are also available throughout the month, do check out their website if you are interested.

1. Weeds on the nose - Thursday the 2nd @ 9am

Walk and talk to Devils Nose with Steve Taylor who will provide insights into the park. Once at Devils Nose, there will be morning tea and cake followed by some weeding. Tools and gloves will be provided. All you need to bring is water and hat. Registration is essential.

2. Ranger-guided morning bird walk - Saturday the 4th @ 7am

Ramble through woodland with the rangers to discover and identify birds in the park. Do bring a waterproof jacket, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, water and binoculars. Registration is essential.

3. Bowden's Cottage open days - Tuesdays 9am-12:30pm & Sunday the 19th 10am-4pm

Visit the restored settler's cottage and discover its history. Further information is available via the Barossa Goldfields Historical Society website.
