My partner and I were craving Indian food for quite some times and wanted a place that serves traditional Indian cuisine with no fuss. We were pleasantly surprised as Paprika Club Restaurant did both!

The service was excellent, the waitress was friendly and professional and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We started with some pappadoms and mint chutney, followed by two entrées that we shared, 'Fish Amritsari' and 'Chicken 65' which were beautifully cooked and tasty.

I decided to get a vegetarian meal as I love paneer and haven't had it in a long time. The 'Saag Paneer' is a medium wet curry packed with flavours and just with the right amount of heat. My partner choose the 'Lamb Rogan Josh' which is also a medium wet curry and he was delighted by the aromas and spices coming from the dish.

We both ordered naans to accompany the dishes as we love to get the gravy with the bread. The coconut naan is a must-try!

I made the mistake to order a mango lassi prior to getting the mains and felt full quite quickly, but the lassi was delicious and it didn't stop me from finishing my main.

We were left stuffed and satisfied but couldn't find space for dessert so finished the meal with a 'Masala tea', which was appropriate on this chilly and rainy night as it warmed us up nicely.

Overall, Paprika Club is a little gem of an Indian restaurant which provide excellent service and great quality ingredients. It's great value for money and they offer a large menu that can cater for meat lover, vegetarian and families (they have a kid menu). It's also halal certified and the restaurant is fully licensed. Well worth a try!
