Bring Papa to PappaRich
Vegetarian Char Koay Teow
Vegetarian Char Koay Teow

If you are looking to try Malaysian cuisine which is authentic and tasty, PappaRich is the place to go. I'm always on the lookout for tasty vegetarian food and PappaRich surely did not disappoint me. Having eaten here before, I always come back for the tasty Char Koay Teow - stir-fried rice cake strips. The best vegetarian Char Koay Toew I've had was at Vegetarian Garden in Renaissance Arcade, which sadly closed down a few years ago. The Kwoy Teow here comes pretty close to that. You can get an egg version and a no-egg version.

The other dish we ordered was a vegetarian Fried Mee Hoon with Mutton Curry, which is fried vermicelli with mock meat and gravy. This too is a great vegetarian option and was presented very well.

Roti Telur Bawang

If you have ever been to Singapore or Malaysia, then you must know what it is like missing the taste of freshly made Roti Prata.
We ordered Roti Telur Bawang, another vegetarian option from the bread section. The dish is basically Roti prata ,which means flat bread made with eggs and onions, served with sambal, dhal and a curry sauce.

Milo Dinosaur

PappaRich also offers some great Malaysian style drinks and desserts. Milo Dinosaur is one drink you can never get enough of. It's an overload of cold Milo goodness.

Kopi Cham

Malaysian coffee has a totally different taste to the coffee we that get here. You can only find out one way - try it. We ordered Kopi Cham Milo which is hot coffee with Milo.

Ice Kacang

If you are feeling a bit adventurous then go for Ice Kacang for dessert. This is my all-time favourite dessert from Singapore and Malaysia but I was not very pleased with what I got. Maybe they have had to adapt with what is available in here.

Download the PappaRich App before you go and you can earn points when you dine. The only aspect that disappoints me is that they do not have many vegetarian dishes on offer. But I still loved the fact that it's just a five-minute walk from Central Market where you can get free parking for an hour.
