We decided to go out for lunch on Mother's day and wanted to try a place we hadn't been before. I was after a child friendly joint and after searching online, I found at St Ives Shopping Village. The reviews were impressive so we decided to give it a try.

Tucked away at the rear end of the shopping centre, it was fully booked out when we reached. We were given a table in spite of booking at the very last minute. The staff was friendly and the menu was quite interesting.

[ADVERT]For entrée, we ordered a vegetable soup that had lots of seasonal vegetables and was cooked in a nice tomato broth. Served with crunchy bread, it was delicious. Even my two year old loved it.

For mains, there were ample of options. We ordered a vegetarian pizza and pollo penne pasta. The pizza was very crunchy and toppings were fresh. The tomato base was nice and tangy. Pasta was very different from what I have had before. Chicken was fresh and well cooked.

The portions are huge – one could easily share a dish. Prices are not very steep either and service is quick.

I would definitely visit this place again and would not hesitate to recommend it. Book beforehand if you don't want to be disappointed – especially on weekends.
