Perched inside one of the city's biggest and most popular laneways you'll love the rustic and voodoo inspired cocktail lounge with friendly owners and an awe-inspiring cocktail menu. Sure, wine is also included in the menu, however, with a choice of 20 different cocktails on the cards you should be in the mood for a cocktail. Just remember to ask for a glass of water both before and after your cocktail fantasia. The latter will pay massive dividends for you.

The service is excellent. Although it appears to be laid back, you feel right at home here. This dimly lit space provides an ambience that can pave the way for decent conversations without the need to speak loudly, so to be heard is unheard of.

has been open for about five weeks now, and shows plenty of promise. Josh, one of the owners, has worked in the industry for well over ten years. Once you take a sip of any of their cocktails; especially the Love Potion # 2 ($16) - you'll begin to appreciate why. Lots of love.

I loved the elegant glass my cocktail was served in, and table service is provided. In other words, take a seat and the menu will be brought out to you and you're served when ready. There is no rush or stress as in many other cocktail lounges. I loved the cherry and Pimms flavours in the cocktail I ordered. It was quite a strong, tangy drink - but it won't send you home too quickly. Just don't rush it. Savour it.

The other cocktail selections include Barbados Slim; Voodoo Child; Banda All Night; Casual Hello and Charlie Chaplin. All cocktails are priced at $16 except for the highlighted (signature) one: The Zombie. If you feel like the walking dead for any reason (tiredness or any other reason) - this drink might, just might, resurrect you. There is no need to worry about the dead. You're alive with a great cocktail in tow here.
