ASSP Gallery in Port Adelaide is proudly presenting ''Panoptics Adelaide'', an exhibition showcasing Adam R Durst's unique, emotive and skilfully crafted photographic art.
On show from October 1st to 31st 2015, this FREE exhibition features a stunning collection of photography.
Originally from Canada, Adam now calls Adelaide home with his wife and two children. Adam has been developing his photographic style and skills for many years, growing up with a darkroom in the basement.
In his latest solo exhibition, Adam captures vibrant expansive Panoptic views of famous Adelaide City attractions, such as Rundle Arcade, Bicentennial Conservatory and Adelaide Festival Centre, as well as the beachscape scenery of Henley Beach Jetty, Semaphore Beach Jetty and Port Willunga.
These wide and detailed views of Adelaide will be complemented with smaller works, all providing a unique perspective on our familiar city.
Adam strives to capture unique perspectives of the world around him and presents these using an emotive style to bring viewers into the feeling of the moment.
"I'm delighted to share these images with the public at ASSP Gallery in Port Adelaide. It has been a long and thoughtful process to craft these images", Mr Durst said.
ASSP Gallery owner Sue Smith said: "After seeing the images of Mr Durst for the first time I was very excited, visitors of the exhibition will see our beautiful city Adelaide in her full beauty and detail".
All are welcome to attend a FREE opening night event on Friday 2nd October 2015. Commencing at 6.45pm, the evening will feature an opening speech by Clytie Wickstead, President Port Adelaide Women's Football Club.
Guests are invited to arrive at 5.15pm to enjoy complimentary food and drinks.
Adam will also be participating in a Meet and Greet on Saturday 10th and Sunday 25th October from 12noon to 1pm.
