Embrace the energy of the vibrant Greek culture, cuisine, and customs in Brisbane at the 2025 Paniyiri Festival from 17 to 18 May 2025.

Be one of the 50,000 festival visitors to sample the tasty Mediterranean food, watch or join in the live traditional Zorba dancing with Greek costumes from the Hellenic Dancers and roam through the stalls at one of Brisbane's favourite festivals. There's no way you will go hungry with so many Greek delicacies on offer. Sweet, sticky Honey Puffs , pastry-layered Baklava, and full-flavored souvlaki. There's even an olive-eating competition.

There are show rides and carnival games for the kids and maybe the odd plate smashing or two.

The takes over Musgrave Park and the Greek Club in South Brisbane for two days of cultural frivolity and fun from 12 noon to 10 pm.

Tickets to the festival range from:

  • Single day tickets for Saturday and Sunday are $19.90
  • Weekend passes are $32.15 to double the fun.

  • Musgrave Park is located at 29 Edmonstone Street, South Brisbane, 2 kilometres from the Central Business District. The Paniyiri Festival is presented by the Greek Orthodox Community of St George.
