Befitting taking its name from the original supercontinent, Pangaea Kitchen offers dishes from various cuisines. In addition to its usual menu items, the café offers a brunch menu during the weekends.

Their Bourbon Glazed Slow Cooked Black Angus Short Ribs were very tender. The meat was presented off the bones for easy eating. The bourbon glaze was what gave the ribs its smoky flavour with a hint of sweetness. Accompanying the ribs was a grilled pineapple salad, which as its name suggests, featured grilled chunks of pineapple that had a slighty spicy taste to them. We were able to have the macaroni and cheese side replaced with a serving of their Greek Salad.

The Cajun Dusted Crispy Squid was not too tough. The Cajun spice blend gave the squid its smoky and spicy taste. The salad served with the squid included pickled cabbage to add a tangy taste to it, and the chips were fried to golden brown and perfectly seasoned. In addition to a lemon wedge to add tartness, the aioli was offered as a dipping sauce to balance out the spiciness of the squid.

The waffles in the Crispy Stacked Belgium Waffles were light and fluffy with a sweet taste. The maple syrup, burnt marshmallows and chocolate sauce did not make the dish too sweet, and the strawberries added a touch of freshness. Completing the dish was whipped cream and vanilla ice cream wrapped in candy floss for an eye-catching presentation.

One of the dishes from its brunch menu, their French Toast was light and fluffy and cooked sufficiently to give it a nice golden-brown colour. The strawberries served with the dish did not taste too sour and a light dusting of icing sugar completed the presentation. To enjoy with the French Toast, diners can choose between maple syrup and Nutella.

Compared to their Beef Ribs, the flesh of the Applewood Smoked BBQ Glazed Pork Ribs had a firmer texture. The smoky flavour of the ribs was also more pronounced. In addition to a grilled pineapple salad, the ribs came with macaroni and cheese, which did not taste too creamy and was baked enough to give it a bit of crust.

When ordering their Buffalo Wings, diners can have them as either a serving of six or a dozen wings. The flesh of the wings was tender and the buffalo sauce they were tossed in added a delectable spicy taste with a hint of sourness. While tasty enough as-is, sour cream came with the wings for those that desire something to act as a foil to their spiciness.

The wooden décor of the café gave it a warm feel. Parking is not a problem as the carpark at the back of the restaurant provides convenient off-street parking.
