What is a one-day music festival that will travel to 5 different cities across Australia and feature some of the all-time greatest rock bands of all time. Get ready for some Pandemonium.



What does Pandemonium mean? Pandemonium is defined as "a situation in which there is a lot of noise and confusion because people are excited," So it seems only natural that a music Festival take this title and make some noise to be excited about.

The 2024 Pandemonium Festival is brimming with some of the greatest music legends ever seen or heard including Blondie, Placebo, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Dead Kennedys, and Australia's own Wolfmother and the Cosmic Psychos and more. Each of the artists has made a huge and distinctive mark on world music so putting them on the same bill is massive.

Showcasing Blondie and Deborah Harry
For me, the highlight of the tour is the appearance of Blondie featuring magnetic singer, Deborah Harry. Deborah paved the way for female singers and performers by lighting up the underground punk/rock scene in New York (including performing at the infamous CBGB Club) at a time when female singers simply didn't front rock bands.

The band wrote and recorded a plethora of hits including:

To get a sense of their popularity, the numbers speak for themselves. Since 1976, Blondie has released 11 studio albums, 4 live albums, 14 compilation albums, 3 remix albums, 3 EPs, and 38 singles. The band has sold an estimated 40 million albums.

Now at 78, Debbie Harry remains simply beautiful, charming, and more than a little wild with a rock attitude that is immeasurable. (Note: Blondie will not be appearing at all shows).

In an interesting side story, it is noted that in the planning and releasing of the Festival, there was a touch of controversy as one of the Shows was originally booked to play on ANZAC Day but promoters moved so it as not to interfere with Australia's socially sacred holiday.
