Tasty & delectable pancakes - need I say more?
Notorious with the tourists and popular with the locals, I am quite ashamed that I had only recently had the opportunity to try out Pancakes at the Rocks. I can tell you that I have been several times since the first however.

Located in several locations in Sydney, the most popular one among my friends and I is the Darling Harbour branch, located at the very end of the Harbourside Shopping Centre (the side closest to the Maritime Museum). Despite it being quite a walk, if the weather is good there is no reason not to walk outside along the shopping centre to enjoy the view on the opposite side. Or if it's raining or too sunny for your liking, inside has a lot of cool shops as well (Mad Mex anyone?). For a fun day out organise a trip anywhere around the city (Luna Park, Harbour Bridge) and relocate to Pancakes after a long day - it will be perfect place to finish a day out.

Be wary that if you go during lunchtime and in the weekends you should expect to have to line up. Once you get in however you are taken to your seat by a friendly waiter and are seated at some very comfortable seats. If you are lucky enough to sit near the kitchen you can see the chefs at work and it is quite fun to watch. Otherwise, the ambience at Pancakes is that of a classy yet casual sort of feel.

Looking over the menu, there are a range of mains, desserts and drinks to choose from. Despite the name implying only Pancakes , they do serve chicken, chips and the like. It is a common misconception between those that haven't gone that it is only for pancakes - it is not, though it is famous for them. Although the others are somewhat overshadowed, the Farmer's Brunch is still a top notch meal that I have chosen several times.

Every time I go to Pancakes on the Rocks, I have an awfully difficult time choosing which dessert to eat. The pictures on the menu make them look so delectable really that I am always close to buying two. But alas, I have always only had room for one. From Hot 'n' Troppo, Macadamia Madness to Blueberry Heaven, Pancakes on the Rocks really lives up to its name of being the pancake maestros. Just go see for yourself. I'm already craving pancakes as I type!

Blimey, there must be your entire calorie allowance on that plate! It does look delicious though.
