Located close to the place where the Dolphin Cruise departs, is a great place to enjoy fabulous pancakes. It is recommended to arrive early as it quickly gets crowded during the peak lunch hour and you can't book a table during the weekend. The name is a bit of a misnomer as they also serve a few non-pancake dishes.

Their main specialities are their range of buttermilk pancakes which can be ordered with a range of savoury or sweet toppings. The pancakes in all the dishes were fluffy with a delightful buttermilk flavour. From their range of sweet pancakes, we chose to order the Blueberry and Smuckers Chocolate Fudge Pancakes. The slightly sour taste of the blueberry topping contrasted wonderfully with the pancakes and the ice cream that was served with it while the Smuckers brand chocolate fudge helped to round out the flavour of the pancakes.





The Ultimate Deal is perfect for sharing with friends, consisting of pancakes served with a perfectly cooked sausage, grilled tomatoes and bacon, fried eggs with runny yolks and a hash brown. The hash brown was fried golden brown with the fluffy interior contrasting nicely with the crispy exterior. If you do not have the appetite for the Ultimate Deal, the German Feast is a good alternative. It is similar to the Ultimate Deal, but with one less pancake and no hash brown.





Cottage Fried Potatoes is one of the non-pancake dishes served here, consisting of fried potatoes with pieces of grilled ham. The potatoes were fried just right and their flavour was brought out by the grilled ham and spice mix that was sprinkled over them. It comes with a serving a sour cream and sweet chilli sauce to dip the potatoes in if you want to give a bit of zing.



We went on the 11.30am Dolphin Cruise followed by a lunch at , which was a nice leisurely way to spend a weekend.
