Palmerston Christmas Tree Lighting

The Palmerston Christmas Tree Lighting will occur on 8 December 2017. The tree will be decorated with thousands of sparkling lights, 250 garlands, dozens of handcrafted decorations and a one metre tall sparkling Christmas star. Bring the whole family along to see the Christmas Tree light up and settle on the Goyder Square lawns from 6.30pm. This free family event will be on until 9.30pm.



Enjoy a night of festive fun and sing along to carols with Wicked Smile before the lights are officially turned on. There will also be a free screening of Christmas movie 'Elf' following the event at 7.30pm.





Make a night of it and bring a picnic dinner and a rug or chair to sit on. Apply some insect repellent before heading to Goyder Square because NT mozzies like joining Christmas celebrations too.
