I am a retired English teacher who has retired from teaching but not from life, which I intend to live to the full. With all my hobbies, I'm busier now than ever with my art groups, small business and gardening.
Stand Up, Walk For Justice For Refugees and Asylum Seekers
Walk Because You Care

If you believe that we all deserve to feel safe, feel free, to expect justice and to be treated with respect, then meet on the steps of St Georges Cathedral on Palm Sunday at 1 pm. There you'll meet like-minded people who are walking for the rights of refugees and people seeking asylum. This is an invitation to show you care and it's free.

The theme for this year's march is " Out Of Limbo" and is to highlight the plight of refugees and people seeking asylum on Manus and Nauru Islands. They are uncertain about their future and whether or not, they'll ever be reunited with family. The more people who attend the walk, the more united in purpose, the louder the message.

There are more than 20 organisations and churches that are part of Justice4refugeeswa. If you want to know more log onto their website here. If you wish you may leave a message or RSVP, on their facebook page here.

Remember, the address for St Georges Cathedral, 38 St Georges Terraces, Perth, the time 1 pm, the date Sunday, 25th of March, 2018
