There is a recycling revolution taking place at
Pallet Life Gallery & Cafe. You'll find the miniature red cottage down a narrow alley off Maleny's main drag, Maple Street. Owners, Suzi and Larry Sandfort have taken the humble wooden pallet and given it a new lease of life in the form of a fun, recycled themed cafe, art gallery, and busy weekend market scene.

The Pallet Life Gallery & Cafe serves soup, fresh juice, coffee, milkshakes and sandwiches. Next to the cafe, there is a plant filled courtyard and child friendly garden where you can enjoy your meal and have a chat. The gallery side of the enterprise sells an inspiring range of furniture/ art works made from recycled wooden pallets.

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (8am - 3pm), the pallet themed laneway really comes to life with the
Maleny Village Artisan Food Markets. Think amazing live music, great home made food and a courtyard filled with recycled pallet tables and chairs. Local stallholders at the Maleny Village Artisan Food Market include, Pallet Life Coffee Shack, The Live Foods Cafe, El Taco Shack, Asian Street Food, and the local community farmers' stall.

Down the back of the
Maleny Village Artisan Food Market, you can potter around the popular antique shop or even purchase some local seedlings for your vegetable patch. The main thing you'll come away with, is a new perspective on the wonders of wooden pallets and the joy of having supported the local community.
