is located on Eastlake Parade, a street back from the Kingston Foreshore (behind Max Brenner). The bar reflects the Paleo way of life which involves eating the way our ancestors did - eating plenty of meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, roots, and nuts - but no grains, legumes, dairy products, salt, refined sugar or processed oils.

Paleo Perfection is only a small little bar, however it does a constant trade in coffees, teas and sweet treats - jam packed with paleo healthiness. Their cakes, slices, balls and puddings are made in-house and are gluten and dairy free. They are also made using organic fruit and vegetables and over 90% of the dry ingredients are also organic - which is why they are so full of flavour. On our visit we tried a muffin and caveman slice, which were both exceptionally flavoursome and moist.

Paleo Perfection is an ideal place for coeliacs and people with food sensitivities to eat or shop as the owners can tell you about every ingredient in their products. Natural food, made the Paleo way. Customers can also enjoy certified organic Fairtrade Wagonga coffee with a selection of milk including freshly made coconut milk and almond milk. If you enjoy herbal teas, they have a great range of Planet Organic teas and herbal teas to choose from.

Paleo Perfection is situated on a busy corner to the Kingston Foreshore and has outside chairs (crates) with cushions to sit out the front and watch the comings and goings of this busy street.

There is also a bar and stools down the side walkway. Although it doesn't have the water views of Kingston Foreshore, it is a pleasant spot to sit and watch the daily life of Kingston locals out the front of the bar.

There are also a few rustic tables inside to enjoy this healthy atmosphere out of the sun or cold. Whilst inside, shop for paleo, organic and fair trade food products such as grain fed beef jerkey, organic fruit and vegetables, bars, juices and Paleo bread. There are also a small number of Paleo cookbooks to buy, to make your own recipes at home.

What I enjoyed the most about walking into Paleo Perfection was the healthy vibe that emanates from every corner of the little bar/café/shop. It is refreshing to know that it doesn't matter what you decide to eat, buy or drink - it is all made of the best quality ingredients possible, keeping all the vitamins and goodness contained within.

The friendly lady behind the counter also made it a pleasant spot to stop for a chat and due to the cosy nature of the little bar, people at other tables also got involved in the conversation. Kingston Foreshore is a friendly place to visit at any time, however this little Espresso Bar on the corner allows you to take a seat and enjoy the beautiful natural tasting food and drinks, in good company.
