Located under the stair case on the upper ground level of the World Square courtyard, the Palate Cafe is a nicely set out cafe in the heart of the city, with seating both inside the cafe and outside. Having dined there a few times, each time I have been I found the service to be friendly and the atmosphere warm, making Palate an ideal casual dining destination.
For a cafe I found the range of dishes on the menu to be quite large, everything from tapas, salads, steaks, pasta, curries to cocktails and yummy deserts. Something for everyone. I haven't yet had a chance to order any cocktails yet, but I have that on my list next time I visit.
Last time I visited Palate I ordered the Malaysia Curry with Rice and the Belgium Waffles. For me personally, the curry was cooked just right, with the right amount of heat and flavour. When presented the dish looked fantastic. A dish I would be happy to order next time I visit.
