Since my 18th birthday, the
Palace of Pain Tattoo Parlour, located in the Bayside suburb of Cleveland, has always been my go-to place for a new tattoo or body piercing. I can clearly remember being a very nervous seventeen year old going in to book my first ever tattoo for my 18th birthday. I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming nature that the artists gave me upon entering the studio and the genuine enthusiasm and passion they have for all their work made me feel I had chosen the right place!

Palace of Pain parlour in Cleveland CBD
My first interaction ever at
Palace of Pain was with the lovely and talented
Ayden Hinton in 2013. I gave him two designs and explained the significance that this tattoo had for me & Ayden went out of his way to make sure I was booked in and prepared, even though he was unable to do it himself. Fast-forward to the present year, I have been a repeat customer with Ayden for another 6 tattoos. All have been designed and executed with the utmost quality & the best thing about Ayden is he loves a good chat to distract you from the task at hand!

Newest addition thanks to Tony Story
The other qualified tattoo artist at
Palace of Pain is the awesome & again very talented,
Tony Story. I recently got a tattoo from Tony on their
September Flash Day & I can safely say this man knows a thing or two! With 30 plus years of tattooing experience under his belt, Tony delivers quality tattoos with great care which he says keeps him busy and out of trouble!
Palace of Pain is a small studio based in Cleveland at 3/109 Bloomfield Street and is run and owned by
Josh Cash. Josh is also a qualified body piercer, so if you've been dreaming of that next piercing or are just an avid jewellery lover, he can be of great assistance. The parlour has two fully qualified tattoo artists, Tony & Ayden. Their website has all the information and pictures you'll need to decide if Palace of Pain is your next place for an amazing tattoo. I also can't forget their lovely apprentice Troy. You can view some of Troy's artwork on the Palace of Pain Instagram page and from what I saw on the Flash Day, Troy's going to do some great artworks in the very near future!
A quick disclaimer before getting a new tattoo at P.O.P;
! To get a tattoo you must be 18 years old at minimum, no exceptions.
! Speak to your artist before getting a new tattoo. Not only will the trust and comfort come with your artist, but after all with their experience, they are a great person to chat too about your possible ideas.
! This is an obvious one, but tattoos are permanent, so be sure to really think through your decision.
! Whether you're a blank canvas or already a work of art, Palace of Pain welcomes all walks of life into their world - all you have to do is make the call or walk in!
Take a look at the Palace of Pain Gallery on their website which features their Instagram (@palaceofpaintattoo) photos of all past tattoos by both qualified artists.
