Feel like royalty at Palace Cinemas in the city
Being a bit of a movie buff, there are not many cinema complexes in Perth that I have not visited more than a few times. I have tried the standard, extreme sound, and luxury options in all of the cinemas I have frequented. But after visiting the Palace Cinema at Raine Square in the City, I have to say it stood out a mile from the rest.
The ambience of this cinema is total relaxation. There is a beautiful seating and bar area where you can order an alcoholic drink, coffee, food and snacks, and relax in the seating area before your movie.
The seats inside the cinema were also much more than expected. The seats are ultra-comfortable, with armrests, and small pull out table extensions. There is really nothing like sitting in a nice big comfortable chair when you watch a movie on the big screen. And what I liked is the fact that there are much fewer seats in these cinemas than most other complexes, offering a more peaceful viewing experience.
You can validate your parking ticket for the Raine Square parking, which is located at the very left of the bar. Parking is $5 for 4 hours, but do check on the Palace website for updates. This again just adds to those small details which make for an enjoyable evening.
I will definitely return to what will become one of my most favourite movie cinemas for a long time. I have seen the photos on the Palace website for the Platinum cinemas, and they look absolutely beautiful, cannot wait to try Platinum for myself.
