44 stalls to browse for Antique Treasure at Annual Fair 2017
Do you love trash and treasure and supporting a good cause? Do you have lovely old things from your great grandmother and have no idea how much they might be worth? Do you have a special shelf that needs filling with something extraordinary? Then I have the event for you. There is an extra special annual fair. In fact the one and only "14th Pakenham Antique and Collectibles Fair".

Anybody and everybody in the antique world will be at this event with their displays packed to the brim. Head out the Princes Hwy or the Monash Freeway for the lovely hills of Pakenham. The fair starts at 9am goes until 4pm on July 29th 2017. There will be food stalls and hot beverages tempting your taste buds throughout the day as you browse a world of beautiful, elegant, historic brick-a-brak.

It will be held at the Cardinia Cultural Centre, Lakeside Boulevard, Pakenham and squeeze in over 44 stalls of stellar stuff. The other bonus to this day is David Freeman is doing evaluations for only $5.00 an item. Who might you ask is David Freeman? Well, he is from Amanda Addams Auctions and has been an Estate Agent and Valuer for many years in Melbourne. According to his website, "David Freeman is a highly qualified valuer and auctioneer with twenty years experience as a professional valuer. David is a member of the Auctioneers and Valuers Associations of Australia (A.V.A.A.). The Victorian Antique Dealers Guild, Government Approved valuer for the cultural gifts and bequests program (Australian paintings, drawings and prints, after 1850), David is also a member of The Victorian Artists Society, Watercolour Society of Australia, Gallery Society of Victoria, Museum of Modern Art (Heide), Australiana Society, National Trust of Victoria, Society Art Deco Victoria, The Antique Collectors Club of Victoria. David often talks on radio (re-valuation).

David regularly writes valuation columns for various collecting magazines and related publications, he also conducts free antique talks and valuations for various charitable groups. In addition, he is in constant demand for his knowledge as a valuer

And this is your chance to meet and greet with him and bring only those special items. For your big antiques, don't try lifting them and bringing them, instead bring a sharp and clear photo and all the information you have. For your little things, bubble wrap them gently and bring them along. No jewellery or coins can be evaluated on the day. But great, great grandmum's Moncrief vase has a good chance of being worth a few hundred dollars.

Did I also mention you would be supporting a good cause as well?Your entry fee of $5.00 per adult (KIDS FREE) goes directly to the relief organisation 4 C's.

4C's stands for Cardinia Combined Churches Caring and they provide a range of assistance with "dignity, hope, generosity and laughter". This is just the simple list from their website:
No Interest Loans Scheme NILS
Emergency Accommodation
Bill Assistance
Youth & Family
Food Assistance
Christmas Hampers
Other Services
Behind all this is a host of supportive and caring from volunteers and staff who are caring and sharing and wanting to help those around them in need. They also provide Financial Guidance, Maternal Assistance and Outreach Programs. If you need a helping hand, contact the 4C's and if you want to help the 4C's help others, make your way to this market for a fun day with the family.
