Paper Quilling is an art form involving paper. Paper is painted, rolled, looped, twirled and curled into intricate patterns and shapes and then used to decorate things like greeting cards and book covers. Quilling has been around for so long the origins of it are uncertain but some people think that it might have begun in China shortly after paper was invented. It was used by nuns and monks during the Renaissance as a way to decorate books and it was popular pastime practised by noble women during the 18th century who liked to use it to decorate work panels and coats of arms. This video demonstrates how to do quilling. Check it out!
