Pet portraits are extremely popular and in this one-off class, you'll be able to immortalize them forever on canvas as you Paint Your Pet.

Paint your cat (İpaula mcmanus)

This is a really fun and creative way to honour the loving bond between you and your pet.

The art class is designed for all skill levels - there is absolutely no previous experience required. You will be shown how to paint from a photograph and you'll be encouraged to develop your own style. As it is with handwriting, everyone has their own distinctive style and flair - there is no right or wrong way to paint. It's enjoying the process that is the key.

or your dog (İpaula mcmanus)

A 30 cm x 40 cm blank art canvas, paints and brushes are all provided to you. Over 2 hours, an experienced local artist will guide you through the painting process.

A good pose and clear photo will be crucial for your artwork to produce a good result. If you don't have a great photo of your pet, then grab your camera and your pet and take one! Put your pet in good natural light and try to grab the animal's attention, so that they are looking at the camera. You may need to enlist the help of a friend. One or two special treats will work well too.
