Life is about the journey - some roads are not always what they seem but you sure learn a great deal from them!
Event:
I have often seen artists by the sea. They created, or were creating, amazing masterpieces. I would watch silently, with a little envy wishing I knew how they did it. My 'masterpieces' were, most definitely, an abstract version at the very best.

On 15 February 2020, Kirsty Watkins, a well known local artist, will be teaching kids and adults how to paint their own beach painting masterpiece.

Students will learn about special techniques to create life-like water, sky and sand. It is one workshop where you can walk away with artistic skills and a masterpiece.

There will be two classes held on the day. The morning session is dedicated to children 8 and older and will be held from 10 am to 12 noon. The fees for this class is $45.00. Parents are also encouraged to join. The second class is aimed at adults. Fee for this class $60.00 per participant and will be hosted from 1 pm to 3:30 pm.

The fees include a canvas, paints and all other material to create your very own Ocean Masterpiece. No experience is needed and bookings can be done online.

Notably, there are limited spots available. If this is something you have on your bucket list, or on your New Year's Resolution list, then this is a perfect time to tick that off.
