Painting classes for beginners to Picassos
Paint and Sip offer fun social art classes with drinks and nibbles. Located at 23 Hutton Street in Osborne Park, there is parking directly outside at the front of the building and a large sign makes it easy to spot when driving past. Both painting classes and resin art classes are on offer here.

The studio is large and well set up and the staff are friendly and welcoming. All the equipment required for either your painting or resin art class is provided. Your booking includes a drink on arrival (BYO thereafter), with unlimited soft drinks and a delicious spread of nibbles. Paint and Sip also provide private classes for a minimum of 20 people.

The painting classes cost $69 per person. You can book into a session via their website. These sessions already have the painting selected (which you can see when booking). If you would like to select a particular painting, you can book a private class in which you can have your choice of painting from these options.

No painting experience is required as an artist will guide you through step by step instructions to create your masterpiece. Everyone is seated with their individual easel, canvas and equipment in front of them. The artist has a finished copy of the selected painting on display, as well as demonstrating and painting a new one step by step as you follow along.

The price of the resin pouring classes varies based on what item you are covering. The cheeseboards and coaster class cost $99 per person, the coffee table $150 per person and the resin clock $119. The resin pouring classes have a minimum age of 16 years and are not recommended for pregnant women or people with respiratory health issues. Bookings can be made here.

The resin artwork needs to stay in place for 12 hours after completion, so pick up is required at a later date. For the painting classes, however, you can take your canvas home at the end of the class.

This is a fun and social way to enjoy art, learn a new skill and create a masterpiece with friends. More information can be found on the Paint and Sip website or their Facebook page.

A very innovative idea. That table of goodies is a work of art.
