If you're a parent looking for a fun kids play cafe but don't like the cost and business of venues like Wacky Warehouse, try Pages Cafe, located inside Koorong Bookstore at 198 Waymouth Street, City.

Koorong is Adelaide's premier Christian book retailer, and is a well laid out store with wide aisles clearly marked by category and genre. Pages is at the front of the shop, and has a good selection of food and beverages at reasonable prices.

For parents, the primary attraction of this cafe lies just behind the kitchen where a secondary space has been filled with a multi-level playland structure, including a ball-crawl, slide, and monorail. A separate play space amongst the children's books has also been set aside for babies and toddlers, and is fully fenced to prevent little explorers from wandering too far.

Koorong has a small off-street customer carpark on the south side of Waymouth Street, but it does tend to fill up quickly. There is always plenty of on-street and side-street parking, but be aware that some of it is ticketed. Patrons of Page's Cafe are also under no obligation to purchase anything from the larger book shop, meaning that you can linger over your coffee for as long as you like.
