As part of the Fleurieu Food Festival, Lessismore Farm is hosting a Paddock to Plate Lunch on Sunday the 21st of August 2022. The experience will start at 10am with an hour-long walk on undulating terrain to the nearby billabong. Along the way, you will pass regenerative agriculture paddocks and enjoy views across the gulf.

You will learn how to make butter from cream and damper with buttermilk. And, while that's cooking, you will get to walk around, interact with livestock and feed the pigs, chickens, guinea fowl, sheep and rams. You will then return to the tasting deck for a three-course meal made with farm produce. Your damper and butter will be waiting for you.

Tickets are $125 per person plus service fee. If you're interested, bookings can be made online via their website. Lessismore Farm is located at 388 Forktree Road in Myponga Beach approximately 70 kilometres southwest of Adelaide.

This is fantastics! What can be more fresh than paddock to plate. We have also like this near our place, haven't try yet, might be one day, especially to teach our daughter where those fresh food come from. Great article,thanks
