I write, read, travel, garden, renovate, work, drink coffee - all the usual things. My lovely partner often accompanies me, and of course my constant companions, two feisty terriers, are never far from my side. We live in and enjoy South Australia.
Fun with family and friends on the water for a good cause
The inaugural Paddle for Life Carnival Wallaroo is shaping up to be a great day out with family and friends. Enjoy the water, the views, the community atmosphere, maybe see a dolphin or two (they are common in Wallaroo Bay and the marina), get some exercise while the weather is still good!

Paddle your craft from the white, sandy beach in front of the Sailing Club, out past the Marina Breakwater, into and around the Copper Cove Marina, and then back to the Sailing Club beach. There will be checkpoints for safety along the course. Food and drink stalls will be at the Sailing Club for refreshments. A family friendly environment will make for a great day out with family and friends.

The Paddle for Life Carnival raises funds and awareness for the S.O.S Copper Coast Suicide Prevention Network Inc. which has been established to inform, educate and support the Copper Coast community to prevent further loss of life through suicide.
Get involved! Make a difference! And have a great day out enjoying the water and activities.
