Festive family fun
Paddington is Brisbane's inner city is a much-loved shopping district with an abundance of boutique cafes and shops. This leafy section of the infamous Latrobe Tce is a shopping area full of art, fashion, homewares, beauty, coffee, jewels, antiques, and yummy food. Signature shops include Du Monde, the Paddington Antique Centre and Du Monde. The businesses along Upper Latrobe Terrace in Paddington are hosting a free Christmas Fair in the lead up to the festive season.
Activities include a Doggy Christmas Market, Dunk Tank (with the chance to dunk former Rugby League star Darren Lockyer) Face Painters, Photo Booth, make your own Christmas fairy bread, Santa letter writing stations, live music, snow cones, fairy floss, stilt walkers, jumbo games, crazy hair, mini make-ups, floral demonstrations, and a colouring-in competition.
Wayne Fleming, an illustrator and cartoon artist will be visiting outside Lily And-Bridge to add some creative flair. He will be available from 4-7pm.
