Located at the corner of Oxford street and William street, is a lovely place for hang-out. This is a prime spot where you can catch up with friends for drinks and meals. Adding to it, it is pretty handy to do a bit of shopping before or after dining at as there are designer boutiques and a fine chocolate shop on William Street.

I ordered the fish and chips at the bar counter and the staff was very friendly. The food arrived fairly quickly and it was served in a hot stone plate, which was wonderful for winter to keep the dish warm. The battered fish was made from John Dory and it was beautifully cooked with tenderness inside. I was indeed impressed with the quality of the food as they were not oily compared to those served in most of the pubs. The serving was just right to me. Otherwise I would feel guilty leaving the food on the plate.

The place has a great little casual dining area at the back. There's a small open window on the top where you can feel the warmth from beams of sunlight. This is a great spot to unwind and pamper yourself with good food and wine. The only drawback is that this is a smoking area and so you may be slightly irritated if you're a non-smoker.

Alternatively, you can also consider sitting further end of the back where you can find modern couches and bar stools. This spot is also less noisy compared to the front.

Go check out to enjoy a good casual dining experience.
