Join Paddington on his adventures through London
Paddington, the movie, premiered with a bit of fun and frivolity at the Jam Factory in Melbourne's South Yarra on Sunday, December 7 prior to its Australian launch on December 11, 2014.
Paddington opens in Australian cinemas on December 11, 2014.
The premiere event included a guest appearance and photo opportunity with Paddington himself, prizes and plenty of treats for the kids.
The movie, starring Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth, Hugh Bonneville, Julie Waters and more begins in 'Darkest Peru' the home of Paddington Bear and family. Following a terrible earthquake which destroys his home, Paddington sets off for London in search of a new home.
Here he encounters the Brown family where antics and hilarity ensue as he tries to locate an old family friend and keep himself safe from an evil taxidermist Millicent Clyde (Kidman) who's keen to make an exhibit of him.
Like all well written children's films, this film offers enough humour (and many beautiful film techniques) to keep parents entertained and children are sure to find Paddington lovable as his learns how to be a city bear in his new home of London.
Perfect for the school holiday season, Paddington is loveable enough for children of all ages.
