Have you done all your Christmas shopping?
If you get to a week before Christmas and haven't got all your pressies and stocking fillers or you're looking for something unique and special then the Paddington Christmas Night Market may be the answer.
Taking place around the historic Paddington Uniting Church amongst the trees and an outdoor food court, you're sure to find that last minute gift. There's lots of great locally made handcrafted items that are well priced, fashion, food and wine stalls, and music from local musician Trevor Brown.
Stall highlights include:-
Samantha Robinson homewares – from lights to watermelon bowls and porcelain furniture
Resin Jewellery from Kor Creations – a tribute to the beauty and strength of Mother Nature with fine pieces made using organic materials with flowers, foliage and shells embedded in resin
Photographic prints from Live Art Studios – images of Sydney city and its fabulous beaches and bays from creator Melinda White that come framed or ready to be framed with acid-free matt boards
Puppets from The Puppet Shop – handmade wizards, skeletons and spooky puppets as well as soldiers and jesters plus more, all great for the kids or collectors
Skin care products from Remedica – luxurious and 100% organic products made in Australia with ingredients from around the globe, including exotic Monoi de Tahiti
Gourmet treats and puddings – sweet and savoury goods as well as traditional Christmas puddings from Pudding Lane
There's also an 'Everything in Common' stall that helps those in need with gifts ranging in price and region. Proceeds from items sold go towards aiding the poor and the hungry, the blind, and freeing captives. So make sure to visit this stall and help build a brighter future for those struggling in developing countries.
If you can't make it to this twilight market but want to check out the area's local products another time then visit Paddington Markets on a Saturday. They run regularly each Saturday from 10am to 4pm. All products for sale cannot be found in shopping malls and most are exclusive to these markets.
