Autumn is the best time to put new plants into your garden as the harsh heat of summer ends and it's fertile enough for them to flourish. If you want to make your garden special and look different to your neighbours, make sure to head to this year's PACSOA Annual Show & Plant Sale in the wonderful location of Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens Auditorium.
Proudly presented by the Palm and Cycad Society of Australia on the weekend of 4 and 5 March, the event offers Brisbane's keen gardeners the largest range of native and exotic palms and cycads on show and sale in Australia!
Peruse an impressive display of native and exotic palms and cycads at affordable prices, many of which grow well in SE Queensland.

Palms & cycads are the backbone of the best tropical gardens. Whether you are after just a few plants to liven up your garden or creating a brand-new space, the PACSOA Annual Show & Plant Sale is sure to inspire. Society members will be on hand to offer practical advice and help you select the best palms and cycad species for your garden.
You can also purchase a selection of books, posters and magazines.
The doors are open from 9am to 4pm on Saturday 4 March and 9am to 3pm on Sunday 5 March. Free parking is available at the venue.
General admission is just $4 ($2 for concession holders). On entry, guests will receive an informative handout detailing the variety of native and exotic palms and cycads and what to look out for (and purchase).
