While the name is an instant drawcard, Pacino's is a fantastic restaurant for all occasions. With a large array of Italian options including pizza (normal and gourmet), pasta and other favourites, there is something for everyone. Let's be honest, we all love an Italian dish cooked to perfection.

Located in the new village right next door to the Flemington Showgrounds, Pacino's is impossible to miss. Epsom road is a very busy street, meaning this establishment is generally filled with customers eating a meal, chatting over coffee, enjoying a romantic dinner or picking up a take-away pizza. Complete with a well structured outside dining area, all preferences are available.

Obviously, the food is the most important aspect. I can honestly say that I've been to Pacino's countless times, trying something different on each visit, and am yet to be unsatisfied. Everything is bursting with flavour, an Italian tradition yet lacking in many other restaurants of a similar nature. They pride themselves on their pizza, with all the favourite toppings accompanied by some you probably wouldn't expect. Other dishes such as the salt and pepper calamari (a highlight), the 6 point rack of lamb and the enormous chicken parma are not only delicious but visually stunning. A full range of desserts and alcohol are also available.

The staff and owners are very friendly, ensuring everyone has a good time and is satisfied with their order. The place itself is extremely inviting, with many differing areas to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere.

If visiting the showgrounds for an event or simply driving by, stop over at Pacino's Italian Family Restaurant and enjoy one of the best Italian experiences in Melbourne. I don't know about you, but a take-away pizza and a coffee would go down well right about now.
